My secret palette II and random stuffs
It was like 30deg today so I brought mum swimming =D. Somehow I can do freestyle better than breaststroke or backstroke miraculously (I used to do backstroke the best (frogkick+ reverse butterfly) followed by breaststroke). Anyway, mum hasn't swum for ages (infact never really swim well before (like me months ago)) so I'm just getting her to do the kick correctly. Met a gal who joined swimming lesson for the first time, and she asked me how long it does it take to know how to swim. So I told her bout my progress:
2 May : Joined swim class (to those who can't understand why some people don't know how to swim, we just don't have that much of animal instinct as you do, or perhaps we just lack that much of fats (that is less dense than water) )
16 May : Able to kick fast enough to float and move forward. Can do bit of breast stroke and backstroke
In the first few weeks, I practised twice (2 hours each) a week and I really keep kicking - for those who don't know how to swim, I think this is the biggest hurdle. You need to learn to kick straight (with a bit like pointy toe) and making big splashes. And of course you won't get it right away - the muscles need time to develope, but you just have to give it all you have and kick hard! Trust me, you will feel like a happy fish when you finally get it =D
and btw, happy birthday to Huangqing!!!
and since the weather was awesome, I hanged around in the garden after the swim...

maybe aussie bees fly slower xp (i'm pretty sure the flies here fly much slower than in msia - can easily kill them in summer lol). and somehow the lavender attracts so many bees til I m a bit shakey when shooting close =p.
